How it works

After you request an audit, you’ll get a short email with these steps.

Export two files from Shopify
All your products, from Products → Export, and the last 12 months of orders, from Orders → Export. Both are standard CSV downloads.

Email them over
Attach both files to an email to audit@thebuilderscodex.com. That’s everything needed.

Get your report within a week
A PDF report plus the markdown list as a spreadsheet. Each report is reviewed by hand by Timi before it goes out.
Privacy
Your store stays yours
No store login needed
No staff account, no app to install, no access to your Shopify admin. Just two files you export and choose to send.
Deleted after delivery
Your files are used only to build your report and are deleted once it’s delivered. The audit doesn’t use customer names or addresses, so you’re welcome to remove those columns before sending.

Is it really free?
Yes. The first 10 audits are free while the report is tested with real stores. There’s no card, no trial and nothing to cancel. In return, if the report is useful, you’ll be asked for a few honest sentences that can be quoted as a testimonial.
What do you need from me?
Two standard Shopify exports: your products and the last 12 months of orders. If you record “Cost per item” in Shopify, the report can also show cash tied up at cost and your margins.
How long does it take?
About ten minutes on your side to export and email the files. Your report arrives within a week of receiving them.
What happens after?
You get your report and markdown list to act on however you like, and you can reply with any questions about it. If it helped, you’ll be asked for a short testimonial. There’s nothing to buy and no follow-up sales pitch.
